Hike #20 - Evansburg State Park; or, "Don't Look Down! (a.k.a. Hikus Interruptus)"

Evansburg State Park was like finding a hidden gem right in our own backyard. Unfortunately, the hike was cut short by heavy rains which made it dangerous to continue on this mainly single-track hike.

Hike #29 - French Creek State Park (Mill Creek Trail); or, "It's Tough Being Clever When You're Swarmed by Bugs!"

Hiking French Creek State Park On October 10, 2011, Hiking with Impunity returned to French Creek State Park for a fourth time. With its 7,730 acres of land, and over 35 miles of hikeable trails, it's easy to see why people (including us) return to this state park again and again, always finding a different route to take.

Hike #28 - Green Lane Park; or, "Here Comes the Sun..."

Hiking Green Lane Park Three weeks is a long time for Hiking with Impunity to go without any time spent on the trails, but that's exactly how long it had been since Hike #27. To prevent any set-back in our physical fitness level, we continued our yoga practice to stay in shape. On October 5, 2011, we were finally able to get back out onto the trails, and chose a return visit to Green Lane Park as our first hike in a while.

Hike #27 - Ralph Stover State Park/Tohickon Valley Park; or, "Nothing Beats a Birthday Hike!"

Hiking Ralph Stover State Park Ralph Stover State Park sits in Eastern Bucks County in Pennsylvania, and is directly adjoined to Tohickon Valley Park. Hiking with Impunity has hiked along the Tohickon Creek at least four times now. While we enjoyed ourselves on the hike as outlined below, we will suggest an alternate route at the end of this article.
